Rest, day 3 … 218 days into My Transformation Journey

Still feeling off this week, despite taking a rest day AND an active rest day. Resorted to muscle relaxers today. Not really happy about that, but I suppose they are prescribed for a reason. I think I am having reactions to foods… need to figure out what I shouldn’t be eating. Did I mention that I love food allergies? I am going to follow that up with a soak in the hot jetted tub and hopefully I will be ready to hit P90X3 again tomorrow. 🙁

DAY 42 of P90X3 Classicone more workout stronger than yesterday, thanks P90X3!

X3 Dynamix was so much harder today! I think my muscles were too stiff from the cold weather. I’m sure that means I really needed to do it. My abs and core are starting to feel a little more solid. I love my little girl, but her 10.5 lb self sure did stretch the heck out of me! And the sciatic nerve being pinched last March didn’t help either. Working my way towards greatness, one workout at a time!

Yoga is Strengthening My Hip After Sciatica

Thanks Dynamic Flow Yoga!

listen to your bodyI love it when I go back to a workout and I am better than I was the last time! Such a great feeling. Doing Dynamic Flow Yoga is really strengthening and working my hip and inner thigh after a pinched sciatic nerve left me unable to stand on my own and put me in remedial physical therapy for 3 months! A lot of work to do still on my left hip and inner thigh, but progress is progress, and that is GOOD! HAD to FIGHT to get and keep the lunges on my left leg with proper alignment. Getting better! Take that, sciatic nerve!
